Tanking is not for noob

Recently a guildie wanted to try tanking and wanted to hear our opinion about it.
Here's what I posted on the forum.

I say go try tanking some instance first. See if you enjoy tanking

You will get frustrated b/c dps pull aggro from you
You will be like "oh shxt" when healer pull aggro
Learn to click your "panic" button when your health is low
AOE tanking is much easier than BTC but still not as easy as those op dk/pally
refresh commanding shout is a pain....
remember to put vigilance on someone
People always blame you for not generate enough threat
You can't be the first one to run out when you see a wipe is coming
Everything is your fault =)

Apparently I am on the spot.

Here are some responded to my post.

Don't tank unless you have a burning desire to do so. Tanking isn't really something you just kinda want to do so you'll try it out. There is a lot less margin for error while tanking, you win or lose fights(sometimes).

I agree with gnomi 100% the truth hurts

From a raid member point of view giving advice to a potential tank, Gnomi said it all, so I second his responce. If you can train your minions (raid members) to not pull agro & take the stress of what Gnomi said, give tanking a shot.

If your going to tank it's a long and ever learning process.
