As I poke around her profolio, I found this multitouch for gaming. http://www.architectradure.com/2009/05/03/multitouch-for-gaming/
The youtube video is pretty awesome. Wonder if the gameplay of RUSE would be any good.

Study shows the brain is actually work harder when you are not doing anything. So does that mean Kala use her brain 100% of the time all day long?

Taking a week off

Author: Jon aka Poor Guy / Labels:

Yeah, taking a week off from raid, just for watching the rockets.
Went to have crawfish last night at Pappadeaux on Westhimer and Kirkwood. Size is good, order is bigger than normal. Special will end on 19th, so probably go back there next week.

Oh, here is a awesome video. It quickly reminded me of Vardant in real life... got to watch. One part is summoning his mount (BIKE). Good stuff.

No laneline for the poor

I think only the rich can afford landlines now. Who in the world need a landlines anyway? Landlines = more sell calls. Even back in the old days I don't answer the damn phone at home anyway. It mostly just some idiots calling to sell something. Screw that. Even when I answered the phone, whoever they asked for I just told them they were not here bla bla bla. Sometimes those idiots are so annoying even you tell them NO they just keep going. I try not to be rude so I just let them finish reading their script and tell them I am not interested and bye.

And do you realize how expensive a landline is?? Geez, they cost arms and legs man. If you still want a landline, you just ask for more trouble. And, obviously, you have too much money throwing around.

GOOD STEAK and Rockets won

Author: Jon aka Poor Guy / Labels: ,

Finally had some decent steak at Saltgrass on my birthday. I mentioned to my friends don't need to get a cake, but my friends got me one anyway. Opps, I didn't make a wish. but they never come truth anyway. Maybe I always ask for too much? =O
Anyway, thanks for those coming and actually read this blog. (No follower on the right hand side. on this blog.....)

BTW, go Rockets. Good to win game 1 at L.A. It was a scared moment when Yao went down after bumping knees with Kobe. Good that he came back strong and finished the game.

Too bad I was helping my failed DK friend Vardant (opps, did I mention name here?) to finish off his achievement at UP and I missed most of the first half. At least the PuG did a decent job, except instead of having just 1 noob, we had a huntard and a noob healing tagging along, which made it count as 3 noobs.

When I asked the huntard to trap one of the targets, he actually ran into the target and lay a trap under it's feet. WTH!!! don't know how to pull the mob?? Oh god..... That's epic fail.

On the 3rd boss noob healer standed in shxt and got himself kill. I believed I played with him before. Blacke or something.... horrible noob pally.

At least noob DK not failing to stand in shxt. I am glad he finally not the worst nOOb in the game!!!

Children's Week = pvp weekend

Author: Jon aka Poor Guy / Labels:

Finally got all my For The Children achievement done. This achievement istowards completion of What A Long, Strange Trip It's Been (Alliance version) which rewards the Violet Proto-Drake.

I've been pvping for 2.5 days for School of Hard Knocks. Pretty much all I did on Saturday was pvping on both my mage and warrior. It helps if you have an organized group going to help you to get your achievement done. But Mr. Fail did managed to completed it on his fail DK running around with a green weapon. LOL.

Bad Example is easy if you know someone to make you a Delicious Chocolate Cake or you can buy it from AH for 40G.

I am gladed it's finally over. At least we will have a long while before the next achievement is up.

Windows 7 RC

Author: Jon aka Poor Guy / Labels:

Update on 5/5/2009: Avaliable now at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/download.aspx

Windows 7 RC (release candidate) will be avaliable to public on the 5th. If you have MSDN or TechNet subscription, you can download it now. The good thing is it won't expire until June 1, 2010.

http://blogs.msdn.com/e7/default.aspx
From the blog, there's alot of improvements. I am going to give it a shot and install it next Saturday. (Not Friday b/c Rockets playing the Lakers and I am going to the game, Tuesday and Thursday are raid nights, Wednesday usually have conference call and rest of the week tried to get my WoW achievements done).

I have very high expectation for Windows 7 and I expect it to run fast and smooth compare to Vista. I do like Vista for it's driver support on ease of install and it run fine on my machine. People just don't understand they need more than 2GB of ram to run Vista.

Noble Gardner + For the Children

Author: Jon aka Poor Guy / Labels:

In order to get the Violet Proto-Drake, I am trying to accomplish What a Long, Strange Trip It's been.

I finished To Honor One's Elders, Fool For Love, and just a few steps away from complete Noble Gardener on 2 of my toons. Here comes to fourth ones right before Noble Gardener end tomorrow. For The Children is pretty straight foward, but required you to take your little kid to do PVP achivement. Children's Week runs from Friday, May 1st at midnight through Thursday, May 7th at 11:59 PM. As soon as I am done with Noble Gardener with my mage, I will jump right into For The Children. Oh boy, I am expecting lots of pvp this week.

REMEMBER: DON'T TURN YOUR WHISTLE IN UNTIL YOU GOT ALL YOUR ACHIVEMENT.
Here is where you start: go grab your whistle
http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10954

Here's a list of Achievements to do this week.

Home Alone - easy sauce

Daily Chores -- log in and do a daily each day for 5 consecuctive days.... better start today and latest you can start doing this is Sunday.

School of Hard Knocks -- This going to be the hardest. You want to get in premade or guild run for this achievement.

Bad Example -- cooking? No problem. I should have all the recipes

Aw, Isn't It Cute? -- This is last thing you want to do. You turn in your whistle for a pet.

Hail To The King, Baby -- Not too hard, but required you to be lvl 75 to enter UP. Just do it in normal mode if you fail like those 80 dks.
